Paideia (pi DAY ah) is the classical Greek education of liberal learning, which was believed to develop the intellectual, moral and aesthetic capacities. This annual conference is dedicated to fostering undergraduate and graduate research in liberal arts, sciences and professional studies. The conference provides a valuable venue to share academic information and current research among peers.

27th Annual Mid-Atlantic Regional Conference for Undergraduate Scholarship

MARCUS is a presentation venue for undergraduate scholarship in all disciplines. Students who wish to present will have submitted the Presentation Application by the end of Wednesday, 10/8/2025, to be scheduled and included in the program. Presentation types are posters, talks, or elevator speeches. Pre-registration is required for admittance — including all student attendees, student presenters, faculty, mentors, and guests.

These celebrations provide an excellent opportunity for parents and families to visit campus and honor students’ scholarly growth & success.
