The Oklahoma Network – Research and Mentoring for Postbaccalaureates (ON-RaMP) program offers mentored research experiences for post-baccalaureate graduates in the biological sciences. Participants will work with a network of highly skilled scientists from a wide range of disciplines to explore anthropogenic impacts (habitat destruction, climate change, pollutants, etc.) upon a variety of biological systems.
RaMP on Genomic Novelty
The UConn RaMP (Research and Mentoring for Postbaccalaureates) Program is a year-long, paid NSF-funded postbacc research training program. The purpose of the program is to offer a mentored research experience and professional development opportunities to individuals historically underrepresented or marginalized in STEM. Scholars conduct research, participate in professional development activities, attend conferences and networking events, and expand skills in preparation for careers in STEM.
Research Experience for Undergraduates (REU) Opportunity in Materials Science & Nanotechnology
SHyNE Resource has developed a unique REU program providing facilities‐focused research projects for four undergraduate students (50% from underrepresented minority groups). Research projects are developed in close collaboration between SHyNE facility staff and Northwestern faculty. This combination of a traditional REU research experience with the hands‐on instrumentation focus provides an opportunity for students to learn new skills and enrich their experience.

Biomedical & Bioinformatics Research Internship and Training Experience (B-BRITE)
The B-BRITE program at OHSU’s Knight Cancer Institute offers an immersive 8-week biomedical research experience to upper-level undergrads. Students from backgrounds underrepresented in STEM are encouraged to apply.
Interns will:
• participate in a guided research project
• attend weekly seminars
• prepare and present their research in a final poster session
• receive a $4,500 stipend for the full 8-week program

INfectious Diseases Summer Program Integrating Research at Emory University (INSPIRE)

WHAT IS INSPIRE? INSPIRE is an NIH-funded year-long program that starts with a 10-week in-person
infectious diseases-targeted summer research experience at Emory University that seeks to prepare undergraduate students that identify as being from groups historically excluded from and underrepresented in biomedical science for careers in infectious disease research. INSPIRE offers a summer research program, professional and research skills courses, and mentorship.
Cancer Research Summer Internship Program
As part of its Cancer Biology Training Program, the University of Michigan Rogel Cancer Center provides exposure to cancer research for highly motivated and talented college undergraduates. This program gives the successful applicants an opportunity to explore potential careers in the field of cancer research. Internships are aimed at students who are completing their sophomore or junior undergraduate year this spring.
Plant Genomics @ MSU REU Program
The Plant Genomics @ MSU REU Program is a 10-week research experience that provides participants with insight into scientific research, graduate school & STEM careers. Participants work on a research project with a faculty mentor. The program provides opportunities for training in computational biology & science communication. We host seminars, networking & social activities. $6500 stipend + campus housing + meals + travel support. Program dates May 18–July 26, 2025. Apply by February 7, 2025.
Summer Cardiovascular Research Experience: MCW NIH ASPIRE Program
10 weeks of hands-on cardiovascular research experience, professional skills training, and career preparation for biomedical science, healthcare, or STEMM careers:
