Proposal Writing Institute 2024

Registration closed on May 22, 2024.
This institute will bring together faculty and administrators interested in preparing proposals for submission to external funding agencies. The multi-day institute will consist of one-on-one work with a mentor, writing, small-group discussions, and critiquing of proposals. The institute has been developed to assist novice to experienced proposal writers in drafting complete proposals for submission.

How Can I Get More Involved with CUR? Taking that Next Step to be an Elected Leader

Join members from the CUR Nominations and Leadership Development Committee (NLDC) as they open up conversations on the organizational structure, how you, as a CUR member, can take the next step in becoming an elected leader, and the importance of giving back to your undergraduate research community. CUR’s nominations cycle for various elected leadership roles opens on October 15. What better way to get information on how the process works, why it’s important to stay connected, and insights into nominating yourself from the committee charged with identifying and recruiting candidates? Get excited about this upcoming election cycle and stay informed about the volunteer leadership within CUR.

Community Hour: An Online Gathering for CUR Members hosted by the CUR DEI Committee

Feeling disconnected? The DEI Committee invites all CUR members to build community together. In this informal virtual meeting, participants will learn about ways to stay connected with CUR throughout the year, and members of the DEI Committee will host smaller “connection rooms” to meet colleagues and explore collaborative opportunities.
