Psychology Mid-Career Mentoring Award Deadline

This award is for a CUR Psychology Division member who has influenced undergraduate research through their own research, through scholarly or creative projects with undergraduates, and/or through demonstrated leadership activities.

Psychology Undergraduate Student Research or Presentation Awards

The CUR Psychology Division is offering a limited number of research (e.g., supplies or expenses) or presentation (travel/conference registration) awards for undergraduate students conducting original psychological research (up to $400 per project).

CUR-Goldwater Scholars Faculty Mentor Award Deadline

CUR has partnered with the Goldwater Scholars Program to present this award that recognizes faculty mentors who conduct their research in a science, technology, engineering, or mathematics discipline. Mentors must have mentored a minimum of three Goldwater Scholars during their career.

Trimmer Travel Fund Award Deadline

CUR’s Trimmer Travel Fund Award will support arts and humanities undergraduate scholars in presenting their research at professional meetings. The awardee will receive an award of $1000 and recognition through CUR’s media outlets and/or notifications through appropriate higher education publications.

Arts and Humanities Faculty Mentor Awards Deadline

CUR’s Arts and Humanities Faculty Mentor Award recognizes exemplary faculty mentors of undergraduate researchers in the arts and humanities fields. Mentors are leaders and role models for those involved in undergraduate research, scholarship, and creative activities. Awardees receive $1000, a plaque to display the achievement, and recognition at an awards celebration with the CUR community.

CUR Fellows Award for Excellence in Undergraduate Research Leadership Deadline

The CUR Fellows Award for Excellence in Undergraduate Research Leadership annually recognizes a CUR member who is a leader and role model within the undergraduate research community and represents the values and ideals represented in CUR’s Characteristics of Excellence in Undergraduate Research. Awardees receive $2500, a plaque to display their achievement, recognition at an awards celebration with the CUR community, and a slot to present at the ConnectUR conference to share their expertise and experience.

This award covers the cost of registration (up to $150) for undergraduate students in the health sciences presenting original research at NCUR2024. The goal is to celebrate and support students’ participation in NCUR while contributing to their discipline and future growth.

Social Sciences Faculty Excellence in Mentoring of Undergraduate Research Award Deadline

This award recognizes an outstanding mentor of undergraduate research in the social sciences for their role in 1) supporting, 2) encouraging, 3) promoting a positive and inclusive scholarly and teaching environment for undergraduate students, and 4) contributing to their students’ professional and personal development inside and outside of the classroom.
