  2008 Posters on the Hill
On April 30, 2008 78 students from across the country presented their research at Posters on the Hill. Over 300 people attended the event which was co-hosted by the American Chemical Society. In the morning, students heard remarks from Congressman Vernon Ehlers (R-MI) and Dr. John Marburger, Science Advisor to the President and Director of the Office of Science and Technology Policy. During the day, students met with their congressional delegation. The American Chemical Society presented public service awards to Chairman Bart Gordon, Science and Technology Committee, Senator Lamar Alexander (R-TN), and Secretary of Energy Samuel Bodman.
